How to Study the Cards (The Drill Routine)

- Small stacks, daily reps. Pull 8–10 cards a day, diagram side up. Name the pattern, its bias (bullish, bearish, neutral), and what confirms it — before flipping. Ten minutes. Every day beats occasionally.
- Sort drills. Shuffle the deck and sort into bullish / bearish / neutral piles as fast as you can. Speed forces recall instead of slow reasoning.
- Pairs drills. Many patterns are mirror images — Hammer vs. Hanging Man, Morning Star vs. Evening Star, Ascending vs. Descending Triangle. Drill the pairs together until you stop confusing them.
- Blind description. Read the pattern name, then describe the shape from memory before looking. This is the hardest direction — and the one that most closely matches reading a live chart.
- Bridge to real charts. After each session, open any free charting tool and hunt for one pattern you just drilled on a real ticker. Finding it in the wild — unlabeled, imperfect — is the entire point.
